Love this!!! I want to hear more spooky stories as Halloween nears... and those cows! I wonder if their wool gets used, if you can make yarn from it?

what an amazing story! gave me goosebumps! that castle is absolutely beautiful, i'll HAVE to visit it one day! thanks for the story! :) x

Hi Tina, I had to smile when I saw your post today — my friends who live only a few miles from me in Western Ma are of Scottish heritage and raise Highland cattle. I know nothing about cattle personally except that theirs are all sooo beautiful. I recently shared some photos of them on my blog if you want to visit. The second link includes videos of babies/young ones!

The cows are adorable. I don't recall seeing them before. (I should be ashamed, I know.) Also love, love, love English sheepdogs. The story from the castle is great & I agree with the person above...some more castle stories as we head into Hallowe'en would be most welcome!

xoxo & goodnight from the East Coast...

I never knew that these cows existed....they are just darling! old english sheepdogs are one of my fav's...if it wasn't so hot here, I would have one in a second!

great posts! i'm glad you brought those adorable cows into my life :)

I grew up around cows and some of them could be cute, but I find that I think the highland cows are cute. I think it is the hair and that they do look like a sheep dog.
