Wonderful post! I had heard of the documentary and now I really will have to see it. What beautiful little birds! How lovely to see them on a daily basis. I think they would make me feel quite cheerful.


Such a charming colorful addition to a wonderful city by the bay!...watched the documentary on tv before, so amazing!

Oh Tina, I'm so envious that you get to see them, watch them, live with them near you! I love parrots. I used to work with large birds a bit at a pet store many years ago, and conures are funny, loud, and beautiful. This is the first I'd heard of the Telegraph Hill flock, but I'm definitely going to get my hands on the documentary.


No way! I thought only in Australia and S. America. So cool - so much fun.
