Fabric Pattern Papercuts

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, mothers to be, and moms at heart. I hope you're having a lovely day and are feeling loved. The sun is finally out, and even though there's a chill in the air, the day looks promising, so Terry and I will soon head out for some lazy afternoon coffee and Sunday paper reading.

But before we go I wanted to show you some of the papercut designs I created last year, photos of which I just stumbled upon in one of my computer folders. I was planning to post about them when I created them, but somehow in the busyness of things and in the messiness of my computer folders it escaped my attention.

As I have mentioned before I have no system in my computer. It is a black hole that is threatening to eat up all of my treasured photos and documents. Or, I'll call it a labyrinth, rather, as it is a folder inside a folder, inside a folder, each hiding secret treasures and confused pathways to other folders. Perhaps this week I will make an attempt to create some order.

The papercuts were exclusive limited edition custom designs for an interior design company...

The designs were difficult to make as they are very detailed and delicate. It was quite a task but I was very pleased with the results. I will have several, somewhat simpler, fabric pattern designs in my shop soon.

Wow, Tina. I'm always knocked out by what you can do. I love them all but suzani patterns are a thing...the top one, too is great. I think these would make some excellent notecard sets (hint, hint)....hope you're having a good paper reading/coffee day as you said. It's already after 8pm here, so things are winding down.
