Oh Tina, I can't believe it. Talk about serendipity. I have my great-grandmother's steamer trunk in my bedroom (I store out-of-season clothes & fabric remnants in it) & I'm trying to tart up my bedroom a, well not that exactly:) Anyway, this is a great idea. I'll take a look at some of the ideas you might have seen & decide whether to leave it alone or not. Also I have a list of the very same as you (the desire list...) I agree completely. I love what you did with the trunk. You have inspired me & I'm so tired...but now I'm excited.

Thanks for wishing GG a happy birthday!

PS: And I'm about two post some desert photographs too (you mentioned The Sheltering Sky)...we are on same wavelength, no?

I have the typewriter you want

Hi Tina
Well.. you know a lot of what you listed is on my wish list too... and I have fascination for the 30's that I suspect comes from my mum... I also have a burning desire for some aqua Bell Jars.. and rarely see them in australia so will have to look further afield..

That trunk is fabulous!! I really like it, both before and after.. the before reminds me a little of old camera cases.. very big camera.. ahha.. BUT your decoupage is amazing.. very very clever...

Thanks for entering the giveaway.. and good luck!! xx Julie
