We just returned from the most sublime brunch at my favorite Indian restaurant Amber India. My tastebuds had a blast savoring all the amazing flavors and textures. The ambiance is very pleasant as are the people. We had some bubbly, too, which I would never think of pairing with Indian food, but, it goes so well. I'm all giddy. :)
They serve this unbelievable semolina-almond-cardamom dessert. I'm not sure of its proper name but after googling the ingredients I found this recipe which just might be it - Semolina and Almond Halwa (some call it Rava Kesari, here is another version.) I'm definitely going to attempt making it. This is our ultimate favorite dessert.
