I love color and I love gypsy style. Therefore I am especially fond of Jeanne Bayol - a french interior designer who is passionate about l'esprit tzigane. She lives in the heart of Provence and restores old gypsy caravans (roulottes), swaths them in bright colors, fabric and layers of decoration. Wouldn't you want one? To travel around the country in or to have in your back yard, as an escape oasis.
Would you join me for a cup of tea and some color?
I think it's time for some colorful pajamas and some lounging (I think this place is made for leisure time.)
A bath fit for a princess.
So cozy and cheerful. I think to be in a bad mood in one of these caravans would be abolutely sacrilegious.
Jeanne fits right in, with her gorgeous silver flats, peasant skirt and ethnic jewelry.
And now, I believe, a siesta is in order.
The colors are just amazing.
Wouldn't this be great for garden parties? Or a wedding?
So unbelievably lovely. The roulottes can be ordered at Les Verdines. How fun!

What an absolutely fantastic thing to do for a living. I have always loved caravans since reading Rupert Bear as a child and Wind in the Willows. Super. This is one of those things I have on my to-do before I die list.
