San Francisco has some of the most beautiful buildings and neighborhoods. Here is a little peak of North Beach, where we live...
On our way to a cafe today we passed by...
... this beautiful lady with the most amazing green oval windows.
The company she keeps is not bad either.
How lovely are these bushes and the balcony covered in fuchsia plant (I'll take some photos when the plant blooms, it looks incredible!)
At first I wandered what kind of plant this is growing in the most peculiar way out of the tree...
... then I realized that these are potted plants someone hung there!
It looks like the plant decorated itself with a flower, just like we ladies do, wear flowers in our hair, on the side above the ear. And, it even matches the background.
Gorgeous blue and delicate lace curtains. I'm quite sure an old Italian lady lives there or a young girl with a taste for vintage romantic.
I like these beautiful art tiles so much and would quite like to have something similar on our kitchen floor. Terracotta floor with an odd art tile placed here and there.
Quite mysterious, this window. With its heavy, drawn red curtains. Very bohemian. Perhaps a salon was held there the night before, attended by poets, artists and musicians.
The decorative plaque above the door with its heart in the center is just lovely, and looks very French.
Hope you enjoyed my little tour!

I loved your tour! Miss SF. Those green ovals look like brooches, no? The lace curtains, the terra cotta tiles...we have the same taste! Hope you & Terry had a lovely cafe chat & are having a peaceful Sunday, Tina.
xoxo
PS: I look forward to seeing the fuchsia plant in bloom. I had a largish one for years- but of course nothing like THAT! Wow.
