Time moves too fast for me. It seems like it was Friday only yesterday. I blinked and now here it is again. Well, welcome Friday!
It's going to be a working weekend for me as I've gotten quite a large order for my Papercut Art from a gallery in Monterey, Mexico, and I need to ship it out soon. But, I'll find the time for a short stroll and a cup of coffee with my husband in one of our favorite local cafes.
I'll leave you with several of my favorite photos and things I discovered this week...
Waving the ship goodbye, I wonder where it was sailing to...
Ophelia Tapestry Coat - I so desperately want it, although I think I would be too shy to wear it!
This 1940s photo makes me want to get a tattoo.
Vanessa Bell (Virginia Wolf's sister) and Duncan Grant's Address Book @ Tate Britain Archives - they were so artistic, they even hand made and painted their address book. Remember my post on Charleston House?
Found in an abandoned attic of a 19th century New York home, a lost garden statue without a head. Imagine if you walk into a dark attic and run into that!
Flowers in a Jug by Eileen Mayo, 1930 - the colors in this painting are just amazing.
Little Bo Peep by Louis Icart, circa 1927. Such a great etching, so playful and the women are so graceful.
Flower soup, mmm, looks too good to eat. :)
Kate Moss & Johnny Depp, once upon the time, in love. Although I like his other girlfriends, Wynona Ryder and Vanessa Paradis, I think I liked Kate the best. Don't they look like a positively perfect match?
Have a great weekend!
xoxoxo
Wonderful images, Tina, as always. I think you would look spectacular in the robe.
Congratulations on the order for the Mexican gallery...what great news.
xo

I have oodles of stuff on the Bells, et al. I missed the Charleston House or would've known immediately. Spent time researching, writing on it & group. How wonderful you had the photos on your inspiration board.
I'll leave you alone now:)

The coat IS fantastic, is it not? Get it.
What a bad lady the 40's tattoo woman must have been. Naughty girl. Slap.
