I've been obsessing about getting an old, intricate, and delicate kimono to wear as a robe, instead of the thing I have that makes me look like a mangy bear. I had in mind something flappers would seductively lounge in in the 20s or Ziegfeld Follies chorus girls would wear in the 30s. Silk, not too heavy, embroidered, slightly falling apart. Alas, after spending days and days searching through websites and stores, I found only several I truly liked and they were either financially beyond my reach...
